We are currently recruiting an experienced candidate for the position of Micro- CT Product Sales Specialist. In this position you will handle overseeing all sales activities, sale strategies and business goals, with the aim of strengthening TESCAN’s position and perception in the Micro CT market in The United States.  

Description of the role:

This role is responsible for the growth of Micro-CT Sales in the USA.    

You need in-depth knowledge of Micro-CT techniques (we will provide training) and a goal to increase TESCAN Micro-CT sales in North America. It’s a sales role, where you’ll be accompanying the USA sales team by engaging with customers during specific opportunities. You should have advanced presentation skills to be able to introduce Micro-CT techniques to both experienced users and those new to the application.  

The role includes collaborating with Marketing Communications for lead generation, working with product marketing on personas and product positioning in North America, and interacting extensively with sales teams and customers. 

The skillset needed will include:  

  • Accurate Forecasting for the Micro-CT funnel  
  • New Business Development  
  • Competitive Landscape Analysis  
  • KPI (Key Performance Indicator) Performance  
  • Best Practices Implementation  

Key responsibilities

  • Interface with the Global Product Sales leads to become their extension in North America  
  • Travel extensively with the sales team to engage with customers on identified projects  
  • Drive the Micro-CT sales strategy for North America. 
  • Understand Micro-CT applications to a prominent level, and present to diverse audiences  
  • Present at conferences and workshops  
  • Identify and nurture Key Opinion Leaders in Micro-CT applications in North America.  
  • Ensure adherence to the Miller Heiman selling process of blue sheets and green sheets.   
  • Ability to solve problems practically and deal with a variety of variables and situations.
