Are you a passionate quality professional with a keen eye for detail and a drive for excellence? We are seeking a Suplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest quality standards across all facets of our products.
In this position, you will
- Coordinates the quality department and activities related to supplier quality controls, records of inconsistencies, supplier complaints, and their resolution
- Sets the rules for incoming control and creates control procedures and control plans
- Manages the non-conforming product process and is responsible for its compliance and administration
- Monitors and evaluates control processes and their effectiveness
- Decides on the usability of non-conforming parts and the methods of repair
- In collaboration with the Logistics department, addresses complaints and identified discrepancies related to the delivery of materials, production parts, and work within internal and external production
- Approves replacements for non-conforming parts for production
- Proposes the disposal of defective products
- Isolates non-conforming materials, initiates root cause analysis, defines and implements corrective actions to eliminate discrepancies, and verifies the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Collaborates on regular supplier evaluations and audits
- Participates in system reviews
- Conducts audits (supplier, process) according to the plan or as needed immediately
An ideal candidate will have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing environment, experience with people management role is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Proficiency in quality improvement methodologies such as Six-Sigma and Poka-Yoke
- Expertise in conducting and leading FMEA and Control Plan creation/validation
- Proven ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration in Czech and English language
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting
- Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or similar preferred
- Experience with Project Management and Supplier audits is welcomed
