We are currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic Applications Specialist for our Life Sciences Team. This person will work closely with the customers and internal teams providing excellent technical support for the product portfolio focused on the field of bilogical sciences and cryogenic applications.
In this position, you will:
- Work with the cutting-edge instrumentation and techniques, as well as communicate with highly experienced professionals from the industry and academia on daily basis
- Stay in direct contact with the customers to perform sample analyses, microscope demonstrations and trainings both in Brno demo lab and worldwide
- Translate customer product requirements to R&D team in order to implement desired features
- Assist the sales team worldwide and answer technical/scientific queries related to specific products
- Develop sales materials including publications, application notes and marketing presentations
Profile of ideal candidate:
- University degree in biology, bioengineering, organic chemistry or related field
- Fluency in Spoken and Written English to communicate with our customers and distributors on daily basis
- Proven communication and presentation skills
- Strong background in electron microscopy techniques and laboratory principles
- Ability to absorb detailed technical information and recent advances in the field
- Proven hands-on experience with life science samples preparation (critical point drying, freeze drying, microtome, etc.)
- Willingness to travel internationally (you will travel approx. 40 days per year, including some 14 days-business trips)
